CO2 capture projects often extract low-pressure CO2 from industrial processes, requiring compression for pipeline transport or sequestration at over 1,000 psi. Because packaged reciprocating compressors struggle with low inlet pressures, a centrifugal blower is used upstream to feed positive pressure to the inlet of the compressor. LST unique CO2 booster blower design along with our proven controls allow attaining operating pressures that significantly reduce piping and compressor initial investments, while maximizing process efficiency.
